About Trinity
Our History
Trinity Presbyterian Church (PCA) met on the north side of Spartanburg in the early 70’s. In August 1972 Trinity merged with Walnut Grove Presbyterian, became a member of Calvary Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church in America, and was incorporated in July of 1977.
Since that time Trinity has been a family-oriented church dedicated to glorifying God though reverent and joyful worship, the faithful preaching and teaching of the Word of God, the nurture of families in the fear of God, and the work of fulfilling the Great Commission.
Our Ministries
Trinity's Home Fellowship Groups (HFGs) meet in several of our members' homes. Acts 2:42 teaches us that the early followers of Christ were "continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." Likewise, we hope our HFGs will provide us the same opportunities. HFGs meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at 6:00PM.
Trinity's Women in the Church Ministry (WIC) is designed to encourage each woman in her Christian growth, to provide a place of fellowship with other women, and to provide outreach within the church, our community, and the world. Any woman attending Trinity is a member of WIC and can be a part of this ministry. Currently, the women meet for various special events and a Tuesday night Bible study on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month.
Trinity's Men's Group encourages men to "be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong" (1 Cor. 16:13). In addition to spontaneous events, the Men meet every other Saturday at 8AM for breakfast, Bible study, and prayer.
Our Pastor
Our pastor, Andrew Dionne, came to Trinity with his wife Sarah and five children (Anna, Ezekiel, Thomas, Esther, and Magdalene) in August of 2011. Click here if you’d like to learn more about Pastor Andrew.
